Eid Mubarak 1435 H

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. / السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ 

The committee members of PSGFM would like to wish to all Muslim members around the world of happy Eid ul-Fitr.

As Muslims all around the world celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, the committee members of Pertubuhan Seni Gayung Fatani Malaysia (PSGFM) extend our warmest wishes to all members, coaches and families. 

Eid reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of our gurus and members to building the very fabric of our association and strengthening the core of our principles of silat values in our life.  

That is why we stand together under the patronage of Grandmaster, Tuan Guru Aminuddin bin Haji Anuar  here in Malaysia and around the world, to promote the positive values of Silat (Sikap Pendekar) and advance the principles to giving back to the communities.

On behalf of the Administration, we wish our Muslims members in Malaysia and around the world a blessed and joyous celebration. Eid Mubarak.

May Allah's Blessings of Joy, Peace and Good Health Be Showered on You on This Auspicious Occasion of Eid!

National Silat Tempur Championship 2014



National Silat Tempur Championship 2014 (Central Zone) was succesfully organised on 11-13 April 2014 at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. This programme were fully supported by Kelab Silat Olahraga Bandar Baru Bangi (KSOB), Kelab Silat Universiti Malaya (KSUM), Pertubuhan Seni Gayung Fatani Malaysia (PSGFM) and Ministry of Youth and Sports. 

The programme agenda was conducted two months before the actual date. The adminstration were conducted between the director of KSOB, PSGFM, KSUM and Ungku Aziz Residential College (UM) to launch the programme. 


Series of meetings were organised in which each bureau provided reports on matters that raised and need to be resolved especially on sponsors and participants (before the competition) agendas. Supreme Council (MT)  discussed with the Supervisor of KSUM, Dr. Mohamad Nizam bin Mohamed Shapie and the Advisory Committee on the framework of this programme. The meeting was held five times before the competition.


The preparation of the tournament was conducted until the last week of the programme in order to ensure that programme run smoothly. 


The participants arrived on 11 April 2014 and was located at Ungku Aziz Residential College dormitory accommodations until the final day of competition on April 13, 2014.


On Saturday 12 April 2014, as early 7 am participants attended the weigh-in protocol and registration procedure.



There were more than 60 participants, putera and puteri categories. Participation were from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. The participation was very encouraging. The competition began exactly at 10.00 am with the first category of putera class A category followed by other categories. 


The competition stopped for short break at 12.30pm to 2.00pm to make way for lunch and Zohor prayers. The programme continued for a few laps remaining until 4pm. The final round began at 5.00 pm and ended at 6:00 pm.




The closing ceremony began at 6.00 pm in the presence of invited guests and VIPs of Ungku Aziz Residential College Principal, Dr Nadhratul Wardah Binti Haji Salman, Advisor University Silat Club, Dr Mohamad Nizam Mohamed Shapie (as Silat Experts from Kelab Silat Olahraga Bandar Baru Bangi ), Grandmaster of Pertubuhan Seni Gayung Fatani Malaysia, Tuan Guru Aminuddin bin Haji Anuar, programme director of National Silat Tempur Championship 2014, Miss Nur Azizah Abdul Aziz and the participants including parents of the pesilat that involved in the tournament.



The ceremony began with a speech by the programme director, Miss Nur Azizah Abdul Aziz and KSUM Advisor, Dr Mohamed Nizam Mohamed Shapie and straight to the closing ceremony. The programme proceeded with the presentation of certificates, medals and awards to the pesilat harapan pesilat terbaik and souvenirs to the VIP. The presentation was conducted by Dr Nadhratul Wardah for puteri category and by Grandmaster Aminuddin for putera category. The programme ended with a photographic session with the pesilat. 


The organiser thanked the collaboration of all parties involved directly or indirectly for the programme. Hopefully, the programme would provide benefits to the pesilat and organiser.
